25 Weeks: Planning the Nursery

With everything your body goes through during pregnancy I have to say one of the highlights is dreaming about what you want the nursery to look like. After surfing rooms on houz.com for more hours than I would like to admit, I have finally admitted to myself what my mother has always told me...I create an image in my head about what I want something to look like forgetting that it may not actually exist in the market. While I saw lots of cute things from various rooms I couldn't find one that really spoke to me so I decided to steal my favorite ideas from all of them and hodge podge my own nursery together.

My first thoughts were that I wanted deep blue walls with white furniture with fun accents, books and toys everywhere. Then when Brett and I were registering we ended up deciding on this beautiful bedding from Pottery Barn Kids that was white and grey - which threw a little wrench in things. However, the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of a more soothing and calming room than a bold one. So this is what I came up with...at least for this week! Lets see where my hormones take me next week, we better just start buying things soon so I don't have the freedom to change my mind again:-)
